To decide pole length and diameter: 22mm 27mm or 33mm

This will usually be the window opening, plus an amount of overhang on each side. The overhang is preferably a minimum of
6”/ 15cm, this should be increased on larger windows. In most cases the above is sufficient to decide pole length. If space is
limited on one or both sides, please check brackets available, before finalising the length.

The measurements below are the approximate lengths each diameter will span. These dimensions can be increased if the curtains are lightweight. Please call us if in doubt. This can be doubled if using a centre bracket.

22mm diameter will span 6’/180cm without a centre bracket
27mm diameter will span 8’/240cm without a centre bracket
33mm diameter will span 10’/300cm without a centre bracket

TIP– It is usually preferable to select a pole diameter that does not require a centre bracket if possible. They can be difficult to get a good fixing.
